Wellington is a great place to stay, located within walking distance to everything you would ever need. Cuba Street is one of the arteries of Wellington's CBD, and one of my favourite areas to hang out.

The area pulses to a more bohemian beat than its neighbouring streets. Picture this, a sunny (yet windy Wellington day) the streets are packed with people strolling alongside the Edwardian buildings, zigzagging in and out of Cuba's zany boutiques and op shops. Children play by the bucket fountain while their parents enjoy a coffee in one of the many cafes nearby.

There's something for everyone; looking to get a tattoo? There's Tattoo City or Roger's Tattoo Art, or are you just needing your latest caffeine fix? Why not head to Cosmic, Plum or Midnight Espresso. Foodies prepare to salivate at the wide range of dining options: Indian, Chinese, Thai, French, and Moroccan; the list continues so I’ll stop there, you get the idea. Don't worry I didn't forget you Wellington night owls. Whether you're an award-winning wine, a simple pint, or an elaborate cocktail, Cuba's night life will suit everyone's taste.

The next time you're in town; don't be afraid to get involved in all that Cuba Street has to offer you.

Happy Travels and I look forward to seeing you in Wellington soon ;)
