Base Rotorua is situated in the heart of Rotorua, yet we are only 5 minutes to bus stations.

We are minutes walk from Award winning Polynesian Spa’s and Rotorua lake Shops, cafes, tourist information, banks and more are all minutes away Getting to Base Rotorua

The super shuttle leaves the airport every 15 minutes from 6:40am until 5:45pm. A trip to base will cost $12 and any extra people will be $3. Group charters are alos available on request.

Take a taxi from the Airport to base. An average fare will be $25 (approx).

Take the City Ride (local bus) It runs Mon -Sat except public hoildays. It will cost you $2.00 per pax each way.

They're NZ's worst neighbours and thousands are heading our way ... but we're ready for them, say Rotorua police.

Thousands of students descending on Rotorua for the 2008 University Games are being welcomed with open arms by bars and businesses set to cash in. The games are expected to bring about 2000 athletes and another 500 supporters to Rotorua for four days with the opening ceremony to be held at the Waiariki Institute of Technology campus on Monday night. Rotorua is expected to benefit to the tune of up to $5 million in revenue.

It's the first time in their 106-year history the New Zealand University Games, previously known as the infamous Easter Tourney, are being held in a non-university city.
